Norman Sloat is a small man, with realistic dreams. Although Norman is small in stature and is possessed of a rapidly receding hairline, mild scoliosis, and poor vision, the creator has bestowed upon him certain compensations: superior intelligence and a sense of humor.
These gifts don't go as far as you might think.
Norman currently teaches science at Millard Fillmore High School, although better things are just over the horizon. When he is not enlightening the youth of America, Norman chairs his condominium association, participates in a literary group, and dates Glenda Balzac, the remedial English teacher at Millard Fillmore.
